In Memory of Frank Ribar
Sarah Heinz House held a special place in Frank Ribar's heart. As a young member, Frank found friendship, mentorship, and numerous memories through the programs and experiences that helped shape his life. He often spoke fondly of his time at the House, both in daily activities and at camp, and of the individuals who made a lasting impact on him, including Dick Lox, Mr. Stackhouse, and Mary Wohlerber.
Frank’s connection to the House continued long after his youth. In the late 1960s, he served as President of the SHH Alumni Board of Directors, a role that reflected his deep appreciation for the organization and his commitment to giving back. His name remains proudly displayed on the alumni plaque in the House, a testament to his everlasting connection.
Frank passed away at the age of 83, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and community spirit.
